About the Course

The course facilitates a successful entrance into leadership positions and entrepreneurship within the international fashion industry. Taking part in workshops, colloquiums and excursions as well as a practical exchange abroad provides students with a deeper understanding of the industry.

Structure

The course is divided into two semesters, commencing with an intense first week that introduces the students to the topics that will be explored throughout the period of study.

Content

We focus on four areas: Sustainable Knowledge, Sustainable Design Strategies, Sustainable production and textiles and Sustainable Marketing.

Exchange

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
The course is advertised internationally and taught in English, the diversity of the students’ cultural backgrounds creating an enriched atmosphere.

The course of study at ESMOD is subject to tuition and fees.

The ESMOD Berlin International University of Art for Fashion is listed under the Federal Training Assistance Act 
(BaföG), as an officially recognized private university. Under certain conditions, applicants may be eligible to receive financial support.

How to Apply

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor of Arts (or equivalent) in Fashion Design or in a relevant field, including 240 credit points (shorter degrees can be compensated with an appropriate amount of work experience in the fashion/textile industry, at a professional level).

In exceptional cases, those who are able to demonstrate work experience in the fashion/textile industry at a professional level based on an apprenticeship or professional training may be also be eligable to apply.

Language skills: fluent English
